Activity during World War Two :

3d squad, 3d platoon, L company, 377th. Organized and led the Regimental Dance band. After the war- Attended Harvard Law School on the GI bill. Served 12 years in U.S. Congress, 12 years as a Federal Judge. He went into public service out of a sense of obligation to his comrades who never came home. He passed away in 2007.
