Activity during World War Two :

Went into front line on Oct 14, to bridgehead on west side of Moselle near Corny-Sur-Moselle. Moved to Fort Driant near Gravalot where he was wounded by mortor fire from the fort on November 13. Hospitalized in England and Kansas until discharge in July 1945.

Campaigns : Northern France, Rhineland.
