Unit : Unit Unknow, 379th Infantry Regiment

Rank : Private First Class

Killed on November 15, 1944 at Near Metz (France)

Activity during World War Two :

I was in a cemetery near Greenville, MI and came on a grave marker for PFC Melvin Nash. He was a member of the 379 Inf of the 95th Div., & he died on 11 Nov.1944. I did not know Melvin, but thought he would be in the list of Purple Hearts recipients. When his name was absent, I thought I would suggest adding it unless records show his death was not due to combat.

Campaigns : Northern France, Rhineland.

Medals :

Purple Heart European-African-Middle Eastern Campaign World War II Victory
