EAME Service Ribbon, Three Bronze Service Stars, World War II Victory Ribbon, American Theater Ribbon, Bronze Star Medal, GO 40 Hq 95th Div 45 Good Conduct Medal. As First Sergeant of the Medical Detachment of the 379th Infantry Regiment of the 95th Division was in charge of 126 enlisted men. Supervised and directed the work of the administrative section of the medical detachment in the preparation of correspondence, records, form, reports and others. Supervised the preparation of personnel matters including payrolls, special orders, court martial proceedings, morning reports, sick reports, rosters, furloughs, and discharges. Kept a locator file and a policy file. Was thoroughly familiar with the operation of his unit.

Campaigns : Northern France, Rhineland, Central Europe.
