In 1942, Harry L. Twaddle takes the command of the 95th Infantry Division. The 15 July 1942, the division takes the road for the camp Swift in Texas. The general Twaddle and his division leave for Europe on August 9, 1944. They arrive to Liverpool on August 17. In September, 1944, they will return in France by Omaha Beach. The general Harry L. Twaddle will commands the 95 ID US during all the duration of the war. It was a man very appreciated by his soldiers.
