James H. METZ was a platoon sergeant with the 95th Infantry 377th Company F, who were known as the Iron Men of Metz. During the liberation of the fortified city of Metz from the Germans, he was wounded twice, and earned a Purple Heart, Purple Heart with clusters, a Bronze Star and the French Liberation Medal. James Harold Metz went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, August 22, 2006.
