Activité pendant la Seconde Guerre Mondiale :

While serving as a jeep driver, Cpl. Lang came upon an artillery battery setting along the roadside. Cpl. Lang found out that they were unable to set up due to a suspected mine field. Cpl. Lang, without any orders, took the jeep and drove it around in the suspected mine field. Finding no mines the battery was able to set up in time for a German counter attack. Cpl. Lang was awarded the Bronze Star for his action.

Campagnes : Northern France, Rhineland, Ardennes-Alsace, Central Europe.
