Activité pendant la Seconde Guerre Mondiale :

1 April 1945 Awarded the Silver & Purple Heart for gallantry in action near Lamarshagen, Germany. When a task force of tanks and infantry unit to which he belonged was halted by devastating panzerfaust fire, Private Reese and Five (5) comrades were sent to reconnoiter and if possible eliminate the panzerfausts. While coming upon the enemy on high ground, Private Reese participated in a bold assault which destroyed the enemy's position and enabled the tanks to resume their advance. Seven Germans were killed by Private Reese and his comrades and 14 panzerfausts were captured... Awarded EAME Campaign with 3 Bronze Stars...

Campagnes : Northern France, Rhineland, Ardennes-Alsace, Central Europe.
